Khumbu is not only famous for it being the home of the world’s highest mountain, but also because of fascinating and beautiful Sherpa Villages. This slow paced exploration is designed to help the visitors enjoy the grandeur of the Khumbu peaks and allow time to mix with the Sherpas. Beside the magnificence of the Everest region without taking the strenuous trail to Base Camp, this is an ideal trek for those who wish to savour the richest Sherpa culture by being together with them in their homeland and visiting their cultural centers. We will be visiting Sherpa houses and staying overnight there as well as joining local festivals that usually get organized by local people. Mani Ramdu and Dumji, the major Sherpa festivals observed in Spring and Autumn seasons, are the main feature of this trek.
