 Lukla Monastery A trek to the very heart of Sherpaland in the Khumbu Valley of Everest region. Quite the best way to see, feel and experience the Sherpa culture, way of their life and their tradition. It requires flying to Lukla and trekking from Lukla to Namche Bazaar and gradually ascend to the spectacular site of Thyangboche Monastery across the Khumbu glacier to the Kalapatthar - the famous point for a classic view of Mt. Everest (8,848m), Kangtega (6,809m), Lhotse (8,511m) and Amadablam (6,856m). This trek is challenging but your efforts will be rewarded very well. The luxurious Kongde Resort in Kongde makes your stay romantic and a once in a lifetime sojourn. Kongde is considered a paradise for all nature explorers. One can get lost in the idyllic beauty of the magnificent Himalayas and the Sherpa settlement of Khumbu Valley.
