Expedition in Nepal

Expedition in Nepal

Nepal was officially off-limits to westerners as late as 1949, long after other Himalayan regions had become a playground for Western climbers, coupled with the fact that the country can boast of eight peaks over 8,000 meters, has resulted in the creation and sustaining of interest both in its cultural mystery and in its mountains.

As the Himalayas become an adventurous spot for Westerners, the guardian of the Himalayas “Sherpa” becomes the most trusted climbing partners to them. The Sherpas also have enjoyed climbing the mountains as well as improved their professional climbing careers as a climbing guide.
