Mount Everest is the highest point on Earth, 8,848m high. Named after Sir George Everest, the British surveyor-general of India, Everest is known in Tibet as Chomolungma and the Nepalese call it Sagarmatha. Mount Everest is located in Nepal-Tibet border. First accent is done by Sir Edmund Hilary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa in 1953. An interesting, many climbers have claimed that they have found Yeti in Everest.

Everest Base camp is situated on Khumbu Glacier at the height of 18,000ft. All the International climbers assemble during the expedition season. Normally climbing of this expedition last about 90 days. Everybody is really busy with excitement for preparing of their expedition to reach the summit.

Itinerary
Day 01 Arrival Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel.
Day 02 Kathmandu.
Day 03 Kathmandu. Briefing in The Ministry of Tourism.
Day 04 Transfer to the airport, fly to Lukla (2,800m) and trek to Phakding (2,640m).
Day 05 Namche Bazaar (3,446m).
Day 06 Namche, rest for acclimatization.
Day 07 Tengboche Monastery (3,867m).
Day 08 Dingboche.
Day 09 Lobuche (4,900m).
Day 10 Rest day in Lobuche.
Day 11 Everest Base Camp.
Day 12-57 Climbing Period Mt. Everest.
Day 58 Base Camp.
Day 59 Trek to Pheriche.
Day 60 Trek to Khumjung.
Day 61 Trek to Monjo.
Day 62 Trek to Lukla.
Day 63 Flight to Kathmandu.
Day 64 Kathmandu, Free day.
Day 65 Departure from Kathmandu.

Cost for Everest Expedition full board up to Base camp (Group join basis):

01 pax USD 15200.00 + Royalty US$ 25000.00 = USD 40000.00 per person
02 pax USD 8900.00 + Royalty US$ 20000.00 = USD 28900.00 per person
03 pax USD 8400.00 + Royalty US$ 16000.00 = USD 24400.00 per person

Climbing Sherpa US$ 2500 per person extra (if required) which includes equipment allowance, daily allowance, food allowance, flight and insurance.

Cost includes:
  • 5 nights hotel accommodation in Kathmandu with B/B basis in 3 stars Category.
  • Flight Kathmandu – Lukla – Kathmandu with 80kg cargo per member.
  • Trekking from Lukla to BC and back with lodge trek or camping.
  • Food during the trekking & expedition up to BC for members & staffs.
  • Porter or Yak from Lukla to BC and back to Lukla.
  • Cargo charges (KTM-Lukla-KTM)
  • Cargo clearance and duties fees.
  • Complete camping equipment for trekking and base camp.
  • Expedition permit visa South Col and National park fees.
  • 1 North Face tent per member for Base camp.
  • 1 Government Liaison Officer.
  • Crews: Base camp guide, cook, kitchen boy and helper.
  • Above mention staffs and liaison officer's equipment allowance, daily wages, insurance and flight tickets.
  • All the ground transportation as per Itinerary.
  • Emergency Oxygen-Mask and regulator.
  • Satellite Phone (Pay Call)
  • Gammow Gag-PAC (Life saving device in case of altitude sickness)
  • Last fare well dinner.
Cost does not includes:
  • Lunch & dinner in Kathmandu
  • High altitude climbing food, fuel, gas above base camp
  • Expedition personal climbing gears
  • Personal accident insurance and emergency evacuation, Helicopter rescue.

  • Expedition Cargo custom clearance.

  • Personal Satellite phone with e-mail and Internet.
  • Walk Talkie permit
  • Extra personal expenses
  • Oxygen and Mask with regulator for climbing
  • Garbage deposit US$ 4000 (sharing by the team) which is refundable after returning their garbage back to Kathmandu.
Tipping: It's appreciated and well practiced to tip the trekking and expedition's crew which includes guide, cook, kitchen staffs and porters as they also expect a generous tip though tipping is not compulsory.
