Kanchenjunga, the 3rd highest peak (8,586m) of the world is on the Far Eastern border of Nepal was initially opened for foreigners in 1988. Being neighbored by Tibet & Sikkim border, this area with restriction is least visited though the peak offers enchanting views of the both the north & south aspect of the peak.
This exotic trek leads us through lush valleys to alpine pastures over the Mahabharat lekh; from the tropical low lands to the high glaciers and being surrounded by the Kambachen, Jannu and Yalungkang peaks. Starting from the low land passing through terraced fields, Rai & Limbu villages and forests gaining maximum altitude around Kanchenjunga glacier and Pangpema (5,140 m) the highest point of this trek.
