Fly to Biratnagar & drive to Gantok (approx 7 hours of drive). On arrival meet, assist & check into the hotel. O/N at hotel. | | Day 02 | Gangtok
AM: Visit Enchey monastery, Government institute of cottage Industry, Dodrul Chorten, Research Institute of Tibetology.
PM: Visit Rumtek monastery, situated 24 kms. Away from Gantok & this magnificent monastery was built by the late Gyalwa Karmapa, The head of the Kagyu sect. O/N at hotel. | | Day 03 | Gangtok
Free day for personal activities. O/N at hotel. | | Day 04 | Gantok – Pemayangtse
AM: After breakfast, drive through semi tropical forests, cardamom plantation & villages.
PM: Visit the Pemayangtse monastery sistuted adlacent to the hotel. This is a premier monastery of Sikkim built in the 17th century. O/N at hotel. | | Day 05 | Pemayamgtse - Khechapladri lake - Pemayamgtse
AM: After breakfast drive to Khechapladri lake, which is also known as the wishing lake & is considered very sacred & no water sport or other activities besides prayer & worship are allowed around it.
PM: A short walk to Sangachholing monastery located on a hillock above the hotel. On clear day the view of the mountain ranges is excellent stunning. O/N at hotel. | | Day 06 | Pemayangtse – Silliguri
Drive leisurely along the Tista river to the plains of North Bengal. O/N at hotel. | | Day 07 | Silliguri – Biratnagar – Kathmandu
After breakfast drive to Biratnagar airport & fly to Kathmandu. O/N at hotel. | |
