Dolpo Mustang Trek

Trek Grade:	C (Challenging)
Trek Duration:	26 days (21 days trek)
Max. Altitude:	5,200m.

A unique trek in the rugged regions of Dolpo & Mustang exploring the long – forbidden land. It’s a magnificent trek, with countless scenic and cultural variation that deserves to become one of the classic of Nepal although very remoteness & more strenuous.

As described in the other itineraries, both Dolpo & Mustang are the remote region of Nepal with wild land of high passes on the Tibetan boarder seldom visited by trekkers. Our approach for this combined trek starts from Juphal (an airstrip in Dolpo), walking up to 7-8 hours a day crossing high passes above 5,000m., down to the trek ending point Jomsom.

Itinerary

Day 01	Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02	Sightseeing in Kathmandu O/N hotel.
Day 03	Fly to Nepalgunj. O/N at hotel.
Day 04	Fly to Juphal and trek to Dunai. O/N at camp.
Day 05	Treks to Ankhe check post (2,900m). O/N at camp.
Day 06	Trek to Sumdowa (3,000m). O/N at camp.
Day 07	Trek to Phoksumdo (3,600m). O/N at hotel.
Day 08	Trek to Ringmo – Phoksumdo Chu (3,600m). O/N at camp.
Day 09	Trek to Kang La Phedi (5,000m). O/N at camp.
Day 10	Trek to Shey Gompa (4,600m). O/N at camp.
Day 11	Rest day at shey Gompa. O/N at camp.
Day 12	Trek to Numgung (5,200m). O/N at camp.
Day 13	Trek to Saldang (5,300m). O/N at camp.
Day 14	Trek to Shimen (3,900m). O/N at camp.
Day 15	Rest day at Shime O/N at camp.
Day 16	Trek to Tingkyu (4,100m). O/N at camp.
Day 17	Trek to Gasyang (4,000m). O/N at camp.
Day 18	Trek to Charkha (4,100m). O/N at camp.
Day 19	Trek to Sangda Phedi (5,000m). O/N at camp.
Day 20	Trek to Sangdagaon (5,200m). O/N at camp.
Day 21	Trek to Dangkar Dzong (4,200m). O/N at camp.
Day 22	Trek to Jomsom. O/N at camp.
Day 23	Fly to Pokhara. O/N at hotel.
Day 24	Fly to Kathmandu. O/N at hotel.
Day 25	Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley. O/N at hotel.
Day 26	Transfer to airport for onward destination.
